Jazz Blues Showcase

ZonaVibe with Peter Brainin, Ian Stewart and Roberto Quintero, performed to a good turn out and welcoming crowd at the Jazz & Blues Showcase season finale last Friday evening. The program of mostly original music from "Blue Tjade", "The Vibesman", and "In The Zone" was supplemented by Latinjazz standards from Mario Bauzo, Mongo Santamaria, and Ray Bryant. This music was presented in a historical context with explanations of how it relates to and has influenced my original music.
